Multi-award-winning broadcaster, television anchor, and mental health advocate Victory Wilson has been named the MTN Media Innovation Programme (MIP) Fellow of the Year 2026. The prestigious honor recognizes her transformative impact on media and social advocacy throughout Africa.

The award celebrates Wilson’s exceptional ability to use media as a vehicle for raising mental health awareness, driving youth empowerment, supporting emotional wellbeing, and delivering impactful storytelling.

As a senior television anchor with Silverbird Television and the host of “The Victory Wilson Show”, she has earned widespread acclaim for using broadcast media to challenge the stigma surrounding mental health, spark healing conversations, and inspire personal growth across the continent.

Her flagship program, which focuses on trauma recovery, emotional wellness, and self-development, reaches millions of viewers every Sunday at 6:30 pm (WAT) on DSTV Channel 252, GOTV Channel 121, StarTimes Channel 109, and YouTube.

Additionally, Wilson serves as the Executive Producer and host of “The Amazing Kids Show”, one of Nigeria’s largest talent and development platforms for children, which airs live every Saturday at 10 am on Rhythm FM and Silverbird Television.

Beyond her broadcast work, Wilson is a prominent media leader, international event compere, and author of the book “Mastering The Art of Presentation”. She also serves as the Vice President of the MTN MIP Alumni.
