US President Donald Trump praised rapper Nicki Minaj’s backside at a midterms rally on Sunday, October 25, at McMorran Place Sports & Entertainment Centre in Port Huron, Michigan.
Minaj, 44, shared videos from aboard Air Force One before joining Trump on stage. Trump told the crowd, “I looked at one hell of a beautiful ass before – Nicki Minaj.” He then told her, “That’s hard to miss. Stand up!”
He added: “I hope Nicki wasn’t insulted, but we love Nicki. She’s been with us for a long time.”
Trump also addressed viral remarks about the backside of Republican Ohio senator Jon Husted. The Guardian reported that he had said he looked at Husted’s body after learning he was a great athlete.
At the rally, Trump dismissed the coverage as “fake news” and said he spoke “in fun”. He said he had never done that with a man before.
