Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez are officially married. The couple exchanged vows in a private civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, on Tuesday, with their five children present.
The wedding caps off a relationship that began roughly a decade ago and follows an engagement announced just last year.
Ronaldo shared the news himself, posting a photo of the couple’s wedding rings on Instagram with a simple caption: “C❤️G.”
A representative confirmed the union in a statement, saying the pair “were married today in a civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, and are now officially husband and wife,” adding that the event was “a private and intimate moment attended by their five children.”
