‎
‎Ayanda Media Network is in celebration mode today as staff, colleagues, and management honor David Otos, Head of Cinematography and Partner.
‎
‎
‎CEO Ayanda Ngwane led the tributes, hailing Otos for his dedication, vision, and loyalty to the Ayanda Media brand.
‎
‎“David has been more than staff. He’s a partner, a protector, and the creative eye that keeps our stories powerful,” Ngwane said.
‎
‎From Presidential Villa to Ayanda Media
‎
‎Otos’ journey with the team began in 2012 at a press briefing in the Presidential Villa, when he met a colleague who was then Editor at Leadership Newspaper. From that meeting, a strong bond was formed.

‎The two went on to cover diplomatic missions, “disagree to agree” on ideas, and build trust that never broke.
‎
‎Family, Not Just Staff
‎
‎Today Otos leads all cinematography at Ayanda Media Network. But to the team, he’s family.
‎
‎“Even your wife is amazing, and we all know I’m the only one allowed to call her husband at midnight or pull him for travel. That’s trust,” the team shared.

‎
‎They also thanked him for patience at work:
‎“I know I’m not easy during work time. Thank you for carrying me anyway. You’ve been my best protector and big brother.”
‎
‎Tennis, Cameras, and Many More Years
‎
‎Beyond the newsroom, Otos is also the team’s tennis partner, bringing energy both on set and on court.
‎
‎The Ayanda Media team concluded:
‎“Happy Godly Birthday to our brother, our protector, my tennis partner, David Otos. Enjoy your day, brother. Many more to come.”
‎
‎From CEO Ayanda Ngwane and the entire Ayanda Media Network family: Happy Birthday, David!
