Big Brother Naija returned on Sunday night with the launch of its 11th season, themed “Everything Is For The Taking” (or “Show Ya Sef”). Hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the season introduced 24 contestants who will battle over 72 days for a record ₦160 million prize package — the largest in the show’s history, including ₦100 million cash and an SUV.

Early buzz centred on chef and model Abi, who revealed she is married, and visual storyteller Martins, who disclosed he’s in a relationship despite joining the show. Other early entrants included streamer Tram and London-raised model Temi Nkem, both signalling they were in the house to win rather than find romance.

The season also debuted a redesigned “upside-down” house with bold colours and luxury interiors, fitted with 52 robotic cameras and 59 microphones for round-the-clock coverage. MultiChoice’s West Africa content head, Atinuke Babatunde, said the new season builds on the franchise’s legacy with higher stakes and fresh twists.

BBNaija Season 11 succeeds the 2025 edition, won by Imisi.
