Ten Paris Saint-Germain players have been named among a 30-man shortlist for the 2026 Ballon d’Or, organizers announced on Tuesday, in what marks the highest number of nominees ever from a single club.

The list was released for the individual award given annually to the player voted best in the world. PSG’s dominance is reflected in the nominations, with all ten of the club’s outfield players making the cut following back-to-back UEFA Champions League titles under coach Luis Enrique. They are Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Vitinha, Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, Joao Neves, William Pacho, Ferran Torres and Fabian Ruiz.

It is also the first time Ligue 1 has produced more nominees than any other league, with players also drawn from the Saudi Pro League and MLS.

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich follow with four nominees apiece. Real Madrid are represented by Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr. and Marc Cucurella, while Bayern Munich’s nominees are Harry Kane, Michael Olise, Luis Diaz and Dayot Upamecano.

Barcelona have three players on the list, including 2026 World Cup-winning captain and tournament best player Rodri, alongside Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsi. The Premier League has five representatives, with Arsenal contributing three in Declan Rice, Gabriel and William Saliba, joined by Erling Haaland of Manchester City and Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United.

Sadio Mane of Saudi champions Al Nassr also earned a nomination, as did Lionel Messi, following what the organizers described as a standout 2026 World Cup campaign with Inter Miami. Cristiano Ronaldo did not make the shortlist.

The winner will be announced on October 28 in London.
