Israeli settlers injured six Palestinians, including four women and a child, in Ma’in village in the Masafer Yatta area south of Hebron on Saturday, the Palestine Red Crescent Society said.
In Deir Ammar, west of Ramallah, Israeli forces fired on farmers picking olives and forced them off their land, Wafa reported. Settlers in the same area shot and wounded two Palestinians. In Tuqu, southeast of Bethlehem, Israeli forces fired on a civilian vehicle.
In Kafr Malek, northeast of Ramallah, settlers raided a farm at dawn and killed about 20 sheep, Mayor Najeh Rustum told Al Jazeera. He said Israeli forces had also raided the village the night before, and their tear gas canisters started a fire in a house.
Al Jazeera’s Nour Odeh reported that settlers destroyed olive trees across the Beit Furik plain, east of Nablus, while soldiers arrested landowners and pickers. In Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah, settlers under army protection fired live rounds at farmers in al-Hariq to stop the harvest. They also smashed the vehicle of international activist Jonathan Budlak.
